Hi, I’m Annie Griggs
I’m a professional portrait photographer based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, specialising in maternity, newborn, baby, children, family and professional headshot photography — and I absolutely love what I do.
My passion for photography started long before it became my career. I was lucky enough to turn that passion into a business when I founded Annie Griggs Photography in 2016, initially focusing on location and lifestyle photography around Hertfordshire. Over the years, the business grew through word of mouth, and I began gaining recognition from some of the most respected photography associations in the UK.

I trained with leading industry experts, and I’m a proud member of The Guild of Photographers, the Master Photographers Association (MPA), and BANPAS. Because my clients deserve nothing less than the very best, I continually push myself to grow and improve.
In 2018 I took the exciting step of opening my first high street studio in Redbourn — a huge milestone in my journey. In April 2025, I moved to a stunning new studio at Abbey Avenue, St Albans. It’s a beautiful, cosy space close to Verulamium Park with easy parking and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect setting for capturing life’s most precious moments.
I work with families, newborns, mums-to-be, professionals, and yes — pets too! Whatever your session, my goal is always the same: to make you feel relaxed, have fun, and walk away with portraits you’ll be proud to display.
