Baby and toddler photography in St Albans is one of my absolute favourite things to do. Babies change so quickly during their first year. As a result, each milestone is worth capturing before it passes. Whether you missed your newborn session or simply want to document every stage, I offer a range of sessions designed specifically for babies from 2 to 18 months.
All sessions take place in my cosy, light-filled studio on Abbey Avenue, St Albans — just minutes from Verulamium Park with easy parking. Because babies can be unpredictable, I always work at their pace and allow plenty of time for
feeds, cuddles and nappy changes.

100 DAY OLD BABY SESSIONS – 2 TO 6 MONTHS
In some cultures, it is tradition to celebrate when baby reaches 100 days old. These sessions are also popular simply because babies at this age are so beautifully expressive. Please bring a section of outfit changes and any sentimental items you would like to include.
What’s Included
Pre-shoot advice, studio based photoshoot, a post shoot gallery and ordering session.
TIME NEEDED
Approximately one hour, so the little ones do not get tired.

SITTER SESSIONS –BABY PHOTOGRAPHY AT 6 – 9 MONTHS
ST ALBANS
It’s is amazing how quickly our babies grow. Before you know it, they are sitting up, smiling and chatting in their own special language. A sitter session captures this wonderful stage before they start to crawl.
I recommend booking your sitter session a couple of weeks after baby is sitting confidently. However, if your baby is already crawling, I would suggest waiting for their first birthday portraits instead.

CAKE SMASH PHOTOGRAPHY – FIRST & SECOND BIRTHDAY SESSIONS
My cake smash sessions are great fun for the whole family! Because every child is different, all cake smash sessions are bespoke. In a pre-shoot consultation, we agree a theme that suits your child’s personality — whether that is a favourite colour, toy or book.
Each session includes four parts: a mini portrait in their birthday outfit, the cake smash itself, a splash in the tub with bubbles, and cosy towel cuddles to finish. Please note that cake smash sessions take time to plan, so I recommend booking at least two months before the birthday.
