Hello and welcome to my website! I’m Annie, mum of 2, Joshua and Emma, and wife to a very tolerant husband!
I have always loved photography but it was only when my son was born did I decide to learn how to take a ‘proper’ photo of him. I then had my daughter two years later and it was at this point, I made the jump from my photography being a hobby to a business.
About My Photography
I have been photographing clients for the last 4 years and in that time I have dedicated my time to constant improvement in my craft and I’m grateful to have won multiple awards for the effort. Every photoshoot I take, I maintain a high standard for photography and the images I use in competitions are all come from these sessions. All clients get the very best of me, always.
As many of my clients will vouch for me, I am naturally very calm and patient, which really helps to ease the nerves. However, as a parent and a former teacher, I feel that my friendly and personable approach helps to put children, and adults alike, at ease during their photoshoot. I am passionate about creating of natural stunning portraits of a high quality for all my clients, after all that is one of the key reasons you would book me as your photographer!
As a member of some of the most highly respected photography associations in the UK, such as The Guild of Photographers, Master Photographers Association and Banpas to name a few, I continually strive to be the best I can within my field. I have been trained by some of the leading experts in photography, lighting and composition. Over the years I have learnt to blend my creative vision, my passion for photography and the technical know-how to truly capture the “real you” and deliver the portraits and imagery you desire.
In October 2018, I opened my studio in the thriving and proactive rural community of Redbourn, Hertfordshire, it has been an amazing step in my photography journey to move my business forward and expand. Redbourn is 5 miles from St Albans town centre.
My studio is a beautiful listed building and dates back to the seventeenth centre. It is a cosy environment, allow my clients to feel relaxed whilst having their photos taken.
There is parking directly outside my studio, and like any high street it works on a first come first serve bases.
