I count myself fortunate to have been trained by some of the leading experts in photography, lighting and composition. They have been an invaluable source of knowledge which I have brought to my approach to professional photography.
Over the years I have learnt to blend my creative vision, my passion for photography and the technical know-how to truly capture the “real you” and deliver the portraits and imagery you desire.
As a parent myself and a former teacher, I feel that my friendly and personable approach helps to put children at ease whilst working with them so they feel fully engaged and relaxed about the photoshoot.
To help ensure we get the very best from our time together and that everyone involved really enjoys the photoshoot, we can spend a little time together getting to understand what makes you smile and laugh and ultimately tick. Spending this time getting to know you helps to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for everyone, which in turn leads to much more natural results!
Whilst my portrait photography forms a large part of my life, I love to practice and develop new skills helping to improve my eye as a photographer and keep up to date with the very latest photography topics.
Essentially, I enjoy capturing people’s personalities and characters. A family together; interacting, laughing and playing, a styled shoot for young children or adults, relaxed home settings or out and about – all have one thing in common, moments of a particular time in your life to be remembered and treasured.
